NCA Board of Directors approved Spectrum and Interconnection regulations.

The board of directors of National Communications Authority (NCA) of the federal republic of Somalia held 11th board meeting in Mogadishu from 21-24 September, 2022.

The board meeting was held after conducting extensive consultations with the sector, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Communications & Technology. A number of important regulations has been passed regarding Interconnection and Spectrum Management. The following is a list of regulations approved by the board and posted on the authority’s website.

H.E. Jama Hassan Khalif, the minister of the Communications and Technology ministry (MOCT), attended both the opening and closing sessions of the board meeting. The minister congratulated the board for passing these key regulations and reiterated the importance of having interconnected networks and the efficient management of the nations spectrum resources.
