National Communications Authority held a formal meeting with officials from International Finance Corporation (IFC), according to an official statement published on the NCA website.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the two institutions and enhancing collaboration in the development and regulation of Somalia’s telecommunications sector.

According to the statement, both sides discussed key areas including regulatory development, technical support, and the improvement of Somalia’s digital infrastructure and communications systems.

The IFC was highlighted as one of the key international partners supporting the NCA in its efforts to modernize the country’s telecom sector and improve regulatory frameworks in line with international standards.

The meeting reflects ongoing cooperation between the two institutions aimed at promoting a more efficient, competitive, and well-regulated communications environment in Somalia.
